Katie Mercer

Managing Partner and Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Katie Mercer MA VetMB MRCVS is the Managing Partner and Senior Veterinary Surgeon at Anderson’s Bromley North. She joined the practice as a new graduate in 2009, taking over as manager in 2013. She enjoys all aspects of her job but is most often found in the consulting room. She is particularly interested in internal medicine and the management of chronic and long-term illnesses. She is passionate about building relationships with her clients and their pets to allow optimum management of these conditions. She has many patients who she first met as puppies and kittens who still come to see her in their twilight years. 


She has a soft spot for our more difficult to handle feline patients and takes pride in trying to win them round to make their treatment as stress-free as possible. She is very proud of the dedicated team we have here at Anderson’s and looks forward to many more years growing the practice. At home, Katie is kept busy looking after her young son James (a regular helper on reception!), daughter Emma, her two cats, nine guinea pigs and almost always a waif or stray in need of some TLC before they can be rehomed.

Natalie Ives

Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Natalie Ives BVetMed PgCertSurg MRCVS is the Senior Veterinary Surgeon at Anderson’s Bromley North, having started working with Anderson’s in 2018. Natalie has worked in first opinion practice for the past 11 years and most enjoys working with clients as a team to achieve the best outcomes for their pets. Natalie has always had a passion for surgery and has undertaken a Postgraduate certificate in Small Animal Surgery (Soft Tissue and Orthopaedics). In her free time, Natalie does agility with her two dogs when not looking after her young daughter.

Laura Nash

Veterinary Surgeon

Laura Nash BVSc MRCVS has been part of the Anderson’s Bromley North family for over 10 years. Initially starting as an animal care assistant, she then left to study Veterinary Medicine and upon completion of her degree she returned to our team as one of our full-time vets. Laura has a special interest in small furries and our more exotic patients, and she is currently studying for a postgraduate certificate in Exotics. She currently has a small herd of rescue guinea pigs who take up most of her free time, alongside her three-legged cat Luna.

Kylie Simons

Veterinary Surgeon

Kylie Simons BVetMed MRCVS graduated from the RVC in 2008 and initially worked in small animal practice in Surrey before moving back to London and working first at Celia Hammond Animal Trust and then at a practice in Orpington where she became Lead Vet.


Kylie enjoys all aspects of first opinion general practice including soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, breeding work and acupuncture. In her spare time, she volunteers for and is clinical director of the charity Dogs on the Streets, which provides veterinary care for the homeless community.


Kylie has a rescue cat called Meme and a retired ex-racehorse called Charlie who keep her busy outside of work.

Charlotte Breen

Veterinary Surgeon

Charlotte Breen BVMSci MRCVS qualified from the University of Surrey in 2021 and joined the team at Anderson’s Bromley North in early 2023. Charlotte has a particular soft spot for our canine patients and enjoys working closely with clients to ensure we find the best solution for both pets and owners alike.


Charlotte also volunteers with a veterinary team in Zambia looking after the clever dogs keeping wildlife safe from poaching. Outside work, she enjoys playing water polo and going for long walks in the countryside with her two spaniels, Pickle and Mango.

Olivia Goodwin

Veterinary Surgeon

Olivia Goodwin BSc BVSc MRCVS graduated from the University of Bristol. Having recently moved back down South from Manchester, she joined the Anderson’s Team in October 2023.


Though she grew up as a steadfast ‘dog person’, she discovered a real fondness for feline patients too at the start of her veterinary career. Olivia’s dream is to travel to far-flung places, volunteering her veterinary skills wherever she goes. Outside of work, she is a keen runner and enjoys learning foreign languages. She’s looking forward to the day she no longer lives in rental accommodation so she can have some furry friends of her own!

Rhea Grace-Cashin

Veterinary Surgeon

Rhea Grace-Cashin MVB MRCVS graduated from University College Dublin in 2023 and joined Anderson’s in late 2023. She has a particular interest in working with canine and feline patients. 


Outside of work, Rhea has a cat called Ricciardo and a dog called Bailey back home in Ireland. She enjoys going for runs and sea swimming.

Jackie McMahon

Practice Manager

Jackie joined the practice in 2022 with over 20 years’ experience in the veterinary industry. Passionate about patient and client welfare, Jackie is currently completing further qualifications in management, social care and counselling. She spends her spare time on her allotment and in Ireland where she has a holiday home. She has two cats, Dermot and Seth, both in their twilight years but both still feisty!


Administrative Assistant

Lauren is our lead Administrative Assistant and has been with Anderson’s Bromley North since 2015. Lauren has worked in the veterinary field since 2004 and she is currently studying for her Registered Veterinary Receptionist qualification. She lives with two adopted dogs, three cats, four guinea pigs and a disabled hedgehog.

Linzi started working for Anderson’s in 2001, previously working at our Bromley Common branch. Linzi has always loved her job and has a passion for all animals. There is nothing else she would rather do! As well as having her own animals at home, she looks after her 3 children and makes sure they share the same passion.

Erica joined Anderson’s Bromley North in 2023 and has quickly become an integral part of the team. Erica has many years of experience working for another local veterinary practice.

Danielle joined the Anderson’s team in late 2023 as a Client Care Assistant. Working with animals, especially dogs, has been a long-term passion for Danielle, influenced by growing up with her lovely Shih Tzu. Danielle is looking forward to working on the reception desk to greet all of our lovely clients and their pets.

Sue joined Anderson’s in early 2024 having worked as a receptionist at another local veterinary surgery. She has lots of experience with managing various feline illnesses in her own cats and is interested in using this knowledge to help and support others. Sue is interested in all things cats and small animals and hopes to add some guinea pigs to her growing animal family in the future.

Jackie is Anderson’s Bromley North’s longest serving member of staff and has worked with Anderson’s for over 20 years, seeing the practice grow and develop into the professional friendly practice it is today. Jackie has always had a passion for animals and brings that love to all the animals she cares for. She also enjoys talking to and helping the clients. Outside of work she is kept busy with her two children, pets and love of her wildlife friendly garden and baking.

Jess Camilleri

Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse

Jess joined Anderson’s Bromley North in early 2023, having many years of previous experience working as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Jess has a particular interest in Anaesthesia and Analgesia, having completed a certificate in this field.

Gemma Cheeseman

Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse

Gemma has enjoyed over 20 years working in veterinary practice. She qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2013. Gemma loves all aspects of nursing and particularly enjoys nurse consultations, nursing our feline patients, neonates (baby animals), and patient anaesthesia. She has completed the BSAVA Emergency Critical Care & Anaesthesia Nurse Merit Award to further her knowledge. She is a very proud mum to her two hand-reared cats Beatrix and Matilda and her hand-reared puppy Gus. When she isn’t spending time with her furbabies, she enjoys travelling worldwide to observe wildlife.

Holly O’Grady

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Holly O’Grady RVN has worked as a registered veterinary nurse for over 11 years. Holly is caring, compassionate and her favourite part of the job is knowing that she can make a difference to her patients’ health and wellbeing. At home, Holly has two cats, a toddler and a husband who keep her very busy but make her very happy. Holly has worked at Andersons Bromley North for the last 5 years and is proud to be a part of our wonderful team.

Laura Ryan

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Laura Ryan RVN started working at Anderson’s Bromley North in 2018 as an animal care assistant, before enrolling as a student veterinary nurse in 2019. She qualified as an RVN in 2022. At home Laura has a gecko and 5 cats, including the wonderful Norrie who ruptured her Achilles tendon in an accident and underwent extensive surgery and rehabilitation with our team in 2020 – much to Norrie’s disgust!

Nessa Harbottle

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Nessa joined the team at Anderson’s Bromley North in January 2023. As well as being an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse, Nessa is also a Pet Bereavement Counsellor and has completed her Small Mammals exotics certificate. When not at work Nessa enjoys looking after her 2 bunnies and is a strong advocate for rabbit welfare and client education.

Mattie Marshall

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Mattie has been in the Veterinary industry for over 7 years, completing her Registered Nursing and SQP qualification with distinction. Her passion lies in patient care, especially around handling and feline nursing, with a special interest in exotics and anaesthesia. Mattie has a clowder of rescue cats of her own at home and in her own time loves to partake in art, listen to her vinyl collection, watch anime, and play Playstation/ Switch.

Heather Hadden

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Heather recently qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in May 2023. She enjoys all aspects of nursing but can often be found running our nurse clinics, building relationships with our clients and their pets. In her spare time Heather enjoys socialising with friends and family, and loves nothing more than coming home to cuddles with her cat Milo and dog Louis.

Molly Keating

Student Veterinary Nurse

Molly joined Anderson’s Bromley North in 2020 as a VCA and shortly afterwards enrolled as a Student Veterinary Nurse. Molly is kept busy outside of work and study by her two daughters and her lively Beagle cross dog!

Maisie Cowdrey

Veterinary Care Assistant

Maisie joined Anderson’s in 2023 after completing her Animal Management Foundation and Extended diplomas. She has a particular interest in small mammal care. Maisie has 2 cats and a playful husky of her own to keep her busy at home!


Veterinary Care Assistant

Marzena joined the Anderson’s Bromley North team in 2018 and in her role as a VCA splits her time between the Reception and Patient Care teams. At home she has cats and her own herd of guinea pigs. In her spare time Marzena likes to upcycle furniture!

Charlotte Augar

Charlotte is one of our nursing placement students here at Anderson’s Bromley North. Charlotte is a third-year student veterinary nurse currently enrolled at the RVC, who has enjoyed working within both first opinion and referral practice.
